Downhill run to the end of the year = WAHOO!
So time to head north and catch up with the long lost family...Seeing as the 'Gibson Girls' don't get out much anymore...what with three of us being tied down with husbands and two of us too old and crusty to date anymore...we decided we'd all go on our own trip to the movies...for a date with Jake...as in Jacob...as in how many muscles can be calved into one man...hmmm....unfortunately he was on the big screen and we were stuck in silly little launny theatre seats, with a bunch of launny bogans that reacted to every on screen moment...it did make the movie more interesting i'll have to admit... We were sitting in order...Jess, Me, Sim1, Lisa, Mumsy... and I wanted a pic...but this is all the iphone could manage...scary!...
Birthdays mean party time! Here is Jonty going for the present his favouritist aunty bought him...

It's tradition in our family to sing the birthday song and then clap the amount of years that person is celebrating...birthdays like mums leave you with VERY sore hands! and usually it's a BIG build up...you know how it goes...

"HAAAAPPPY BIRRTHDAY TOOOO YOUUUUUUU....aaaah ONE TWO THREE FOUR"etc. Well we finish off Jonty's song and Sarra loads up with "aaaaannnnd.....ONE" It was SO funny...I guess you had to be there...but I thought it was pretty funny...she got a high five for that effort!
Jonty shared his party with Lisa...I was cracking jokes about the cake...so are you one? or fourty one? Sixty one?...I won't publish how old she really is...but all these ages were exaggerated! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LISA!At some stage during the afternoon whilst Oliver was playing with my iphone...(surprise surprise) the dulcet tones of busy bee drifted away...this must have been the time he discovered the camera! So here is a photo montage of the afternoon through the eyes of Oliver...enjoy...
Thanks Oliver! You made my blog post a MILLION times more interesting!
