It's amazing the amount of decorations you collect over the years...we have a whole section for the Santas....

The Reindeer...

Did I mention I decorated an AMAZING gingerbread house?

It's the 'fun house'

Complete with ball pit, fairy floss and Jacuzzi

The house was delish! Thanks to Fiona Cluff and her baking skills!

As we were eating it i'd sing "This used to be a fun house"

and Hallie would chime in "but now it's full of evil clowns"

Blonde moment...

Jessica you will LOVE this mum moment...it also involves Lisa...
The scene is set at the LGH...anyone that knows the layout of this Hospital will understand the dilema in this story...

Blonde 1 and Blonde 2 (aka Lisa and Mumsy) head off to visit Sis x in the hospital...
They arrive and walk through the front doors...
B1 (aka mum) "So where do we find Sis x?"
B2 (aka Lisa) "She's in 3R"
B1 "okay"

B1 and B2 head to the lifts hop in and press the button to go to level three....
The new fandangled lifts at the LGH start talking "Going up"
B1 decides to crack a joke and starts talking to the lift "ah yes, going up, thankyou!...having a good day?"
B2 "oh no reply...obviously not THAT smart"
B1 "Ah well, Merry Christmas Elevator lady"
B1/B2 "tee heee haha hehe tee"

a few moments later...

B2 "Hmm this is taking a long time"

finally the doors open

B1 "okay here we are then...now where do we go to get to 3R"
B2 "Oh look here on the sign (pointing right) 3R is this way"

So off B1 and B2 trot to visit Sis x, they finish there visit and head back down the hallway towards the lift...get in the lift...the doors close...
B1" hmm okay....so which button do we press to get to the main entrance?"
B2 "hmm dunno lets try the G button"

They press 'g'....the doors open

B1 "hmm no this isn't where we got on...lets try level 1..."

The doors open for level 1...

B2 "hmm no this isn't right either...must be level 2"

The doors open for level 2 ... revealing the cafateria...

B2 "No this isn't right...but I do know the cafeteria is the floor below the main entrance"

B1 "But that means the main entrance is on level 3..."

DING!!!!
B1 and B2 realise that infact the WHOLE trip they have been on the SAME floor (apart from the bit where they tried to find the main entrance) they infact had NOT travelled ANYWHERE on the elevator...which is probably why the lift took such a long time to open the doors again it was probably thinking...do these two want to go anywhere or not?

The best bit is that they walked down the hall towards the lift after visiting Sis x...had they just looked UP they would have seen the main entrance at the END of the corridor!...

What happened to the old lifts that had a 'charles street entrance' sign posted next to level 3:)

It's time to go...

Yes yes folks...that's right...the big EXODUS weekend arrived...Getting all the stuff on the trailor was a little challenging... Lucky Kyle had some FANTASTIC help!...(yes I was actually helping we needed to squash the boxes down to get the trailor into the garage...so they pulled in the heavy weight...me...hang on...is that a fat joke?)

Once the trailor was all ready to go it was time for EARLY CHRISTMAS! We had no tree but Kyle and his star were a worthy stand in...

Christmas at the Villa...

The villa was feeling a little dreary...so it was time to gather some Christmas cheer!... Check out this awesome tree!...I couldn't be bothered waiting till dark to snap a pic at night for you but the lights are AMAZING! Thanks to the local 'light specialist'...

Can't wait to give them their AWESOME present before they abandon us!...
