Four day weekend time to have some fun...

Okay not COMPLETELY four days...but pretty close...Thursday was p.d in Old Beach so I got a sleep in...sat and listened...ate muffins...and finished at 3...not REALLY a work day...Tell you what tho Brighton to Bridport is a fair hike!...First time i've driven right thru without a stop! 2 hours and 40 min later...The sun was gorgeous and mum and I hit up the bottom pub for a classic briddo counter meal! Friday I ran the dogs along the beach...okay I only ran up the beach....they ran EVERYWHERE...Then I headed into Scottsdale...
You know you're in Scottsdale when...You nearly run into a herd of cows...I visited Scottsdale Primary for morning tea and got to catch up with everyone...it was GREAT! I do miss it up there...but am also glad i've moved on to Oatlands...After following a truck up the sidelink...(Making it the SLOWEST drive in the WORLD) I finally made it to LAUNNY....Where I met up with this cutie...and his mum...and Oliver...to hang for the afternoon...Saturday morning Jess and Kyle and I walked up to the St Leonards fair...a little TOO keen we nearly got there half an hour early...so after a stop in on the gamers (wheelers) we went to sample the Fair delights...the best thing about school fairs is the CHEAP FOOD! Plus the Launceston City band was playing..Bro Noel Wheeler was doing his thing up the front...they started playing a song that dad used to practise all the time on his trombone (he used to play in the band) It was cool cause I could sing along whilst lining up for pancakes! Maybe I should take up a brass instrument...hm...
Saturday night was 'musicals' dance night...here is Danny in his HOT leather jacket... Jade and I...Guessed what I am yet?

Yep that's right I was a Chimney Sweet from Mary Poppins...the costume was a little different to the movie due to Bek's AMAZING dream...but we pulled it off in the end...

Jack tried to swallow them ALL shortley after this pic...Unsuccessfully!...He did recover after a slight coughing fit and trip outside!

Sunday was East Ward's Primary presentation...they did a great job! It was also Deloraine's but I couldn't be in two places at once and missed out on the "Sarra and Hallie Show"....Family Late Lunch was to celebrate Rohan's 9th Birthday...

We all really enjoyed the cake...thanks to Nanny Wheeler....

Basketball Bashings...

I was complaining to Ess on Mon AND at the Rafters party last night about my lack of bloggable life experiences atm...Then I realised the problem is MUM!
1) She reads my blog and NEVER comments...Yes mum i'm onto you
2) She took my camera away on her 'I love Everything' American trip and I got over my loss and moved on...Now the camera's back but I can't get used to using it again...

So I thought to myself...whats something noteworthy I can rubbish on about to at least update my blog until a more bloggable experience comes my way...
...and here it is...
So Monday night i'm playing at absolutely AMAZING game of basketball with my AMAZING team that are totally going all the way this year! ...and I went up for the ball...miss timed it...and got popped on the end of the finger...all you ballers out there know how pleasant that is... Anyway that's not the exciting bit...the next day i'm removing the tape from my fingers before I hop in the shower and it's HURTING REALLY BADLY...so i'm taking a LONG time (meanwhile i'd already started the shower so the bathroom's pretty steamed up by now) anyho I finally get in and i'm standing in the shower rubbing the glue residue off my fingers and staring at the gross crooked bruised thing that is my finger when all of a sudden I feel really giddy...i'm thinking hm this is weird I feel a bit faint so I close my eyes and shove my head under the water to snap out of it...BAD IDEA...come out from under the water and grab the side of the shower to stop myself from fainting...meanwhile in my head i'm thinking....whats wrong with me? I feel weird...I think i'm going to be sick...so with a sudden case of motion sickness I rush out of the shower and to the loo for some intense dry reaching...and thats it...I stood up...felt fine...went and finished my shower...no probs...WEIRD ...

So my prognosis is either...

a) The pain in my finger was SO intense my body went into shock

b) The insane amount of steam in the bathroom caused a lack of oxygen to my brain

c) I'm a woose and just like the time at the blood bank...just looking at something gross and thinking about it too much made me feel faint

d) I'm pregnant

e) I have a rare african disease

f) I have a brain tumour

g) My recent heart palpatations are a result of blood pressure problems

h) I better write my will i'm going to die soon

Whichever way you look at it it doesn't look good...ah well...like I said...just something to rubbish on about until a better bloggable experience comes my way!

Ladies of Luxury...

There's a little game Fiona, Bek and I like to play called "Ten minutes in a perfect world" Where for ten minutes we talk about ourselves acting like everything is PERFECT...for example

Fiona: So my cute as BF just text me and said he couldn't stand being away from me for another minute
Bek: Ben Harper just called said he'd LOVE me to tour with him next year
Coll: Just got back from picking the BMW up from the car detailers, they just fixed the heated leather seats, no charge.
It's a REALLY fun game...you should try it sometime...okay so we've only played it ONCE but it was good...Snap back to reality...we decided to create our OWN luxurious weekend...We started with some sweet as gaming at the Wheeler's with pro gamers like Jade and Jayme...
Then arose early to head up to Port Sorrel stopping in at all the MUST SEE food spots on the way of course...mmm Custard tarts at ETC...need I say more?
Fiona had never been to Reliquare before so...Masquerade here we come!...and Bek's fav costume....and some Chocolate tasting...who needs toothpicks anyway? The BEST hot chocolate in the WORLD...(I need to be a tour guide for these places, how many blogs have I done about this? a MILLION?)Finally made it to shearwater...Thanks Aimee and Jimbo for having us!! You guys are the best!...sing along with Tom... ...and FINALLY Sat arrived...on our way to Luxury!

Could this day get any better? WHAT ARE THE ODDS!
Every other tourist had their full on mountain gear on...Bek, Fiona and I were in our bathers and thongs...True Tassie style!

The Spa Retreat provided apples AND lemon water this time (I think we got ripped off last time) But maybe this was to make up for the lack of SNOW!

You can smell the serenity...

Before heading home we stopped in at the chateau for a spot of lunch...and ended up with a FEAST!




Lucky we had Tom Tom to guide us saftely home! (Notice the lack of road...yep Tom Tom was flipping out up the back of Cradle Mt!)
