Easter day trip...

Easter Tuesday we decided to take a drive south to have a look at the fire devastated Dunalley.

On the way I couldn't believe how wide spread the fire was, it was huge, taking out hills and hills of trees. It really was amazing to see which homes survived and which ones didn't, like direct neighbours with one house gone and the other one untouched.
We continued a little further south to check out the tessellated pavement...

I loved seeing the new bright green on the burnt trees, and the beautiful blue water backdrop!

Loved your recent post. Thought I should post on this one just because we can't have you getting too many comments on the one post :-)
I have barely read anyone's blog for ages and don't do much with my own. I'll probably take months to post about our USA trip. Just like your mammoth effort to post about Italy. Anyway, you are so close to the finish line...though it's funny coz the baby comes and you're like "Being pregnant is so much easier than this!" ha ha. It's awesome though. Can't wait to see you in a couple weeks so we can attempt a big belly hug! xx
