Working hard or hardly working...
One of the benifits of teaching near the beach is taking your kids there on the end of year picnic and then spending the day working on your tan...look out Ess!!
Mind the sharks there...
Mind the sharks there...
No you can't play with the stingray...
The kids participated in a tug-o-war competition...class vs class...not that i'm competitive AT ALL but my class won...reminded me of the time a few years back when I was stake ysa rep. I organised tug of war at the YSA Australia day camp...I borrowed Chris's tow rope for it...we all got set up about 15 young adults on each end of the rope...we took the strain (did I mention whenever we sing that Hymn gently raise the sacred strain I think of tug of war...random) anyway so we took the strain and BAM we started pulling and the rope snapped...we all ended up on our butts...it was HILARIOUS...how I wish someone was filming! We got fit by laughing about it for the next half hour...aaah good times...
End of year is 'bounty' time for teachers (not the chocolate...although we get a few of those too) It's the time when all the kiddies load you with pressies...I was so excited when one of my students bought me some Gibbets (Spelling?) for my crocs...Now my Crocs truely ROCK!

Game...Set...Match...
Does anyone ever not know the words to songs and then just kind of mumble along or make up their own? Well I do it ALL THE TIME...and i'm pretty good at winging it...infact MOST times MY lyrics are heaps better than the original lyrics!! Fo shizzle...anyho...you know that song "all in all blah blah blah blah cause you don't know what you got till it's gone...take mumble mumble and put up a mumble lot" ?? Yeah you got it? Well anyho....that song's in my head at the mo cause thats exactly how i'm feeling...I liked Bridport better when I didn't care and then leaving didn't matter...but now I do care so it kind of sucks that it's all over...
Tonight I played my LAST tennis match for the year...they break for the summer and then start up again in Feb...only problem is I won't be around to join them...I got my transfer to...
OATLANDS!! Hence the lovely pic up the top...I went and visited today and i'm REALLY excited...I met some of the kids that will be in my 5/6 class...I will only have 21!!
My team are called Scotch Fingers and we are currently on top of the ladder...I play no. 2 out of three women...I finished on a high tonight winning all three of my matches 6-2, 5-3 and 8-0 Yup we pantsed 'em;)
I LOVE living near the beach...I just wish I could have all my friends living there too...it's really no fun unless you've got someone to enjoy it with!
I will miss the everlasting sunshine...and the walks on the beach that clear my head...but there's always every weekend and holiday when I come back to get mum to do all my washing for me...HAHA Just Kidding;)

I apologise if this post is a bit fuzzy...it's the last week of school...the week where i'm too tired to think or 'entertain' or come up with interesting conversation...or interesting posts for that matter...and yet am too wired to sleep...ah gotta love it...3 days to go;)

Brad's Farewell
We don't have many YSA in Tassie...and although it's under happy circumstances that we farewell Whitty...we will all certainly miss him....especially his playstation...teehee...
...Dale is taking it harder than most...
Brad had a farewell party Saturday night and these pics are JUST for you Mel;)
Half way through the night Brad decided we all needed to go out and play the "Three steps" game...i'm not sure if that's the right name but basically it involves two people walking up to some randoms front door...one of them has a bag on their head ... the other rings the doorbell and runs off...once the doorbell has rung the one with the bag on their head removes it and has "three steps" to hide in.
Yep only three... You could end up on the lawn looking like a statue...you might be lucky enough to find a wall or bush to hide behind...
...you could be skillful like Whitty and manage to hide under a car...
...Of course all of this hiding is in vain if the person has a dog that can sniff you out...right Dale? haha...
