and my support crew bestie....
It was a really valuable thing to do, but a lot of hard work! I'm glad the study/reading/assignments are finished!
My gripe for the day is that I have a Masters in Education, a two year post graduate degree on top of the four year Bachelor in Education degree I've already completed, this is SIX years of SPECIFIC study around education, being an educator and the best education for students.
My whine is that those that do an arts degree or engineering degree or business or science or whatever then two years of teaching on top of it now graduate as 'Masters in Teaching' they wore the same coloured hood as me, were in the same ceremony, and are often placed in the same category by those that don't remember that these students used to graduate as 'Bachelor of Teaching' students.
Maybe it's a pride thing and i'm wrong, but being confused with those that have not completed the same amount of study around education is frustrating.
It's really no reflection on the students, the difference in a 'masters of teaching' & 'master of education' is huge, yet the perception is that it's not. boohoo
anyone got any cheese for my whine?
Anyway I know what I've achieved, and i'm glad I did it... i'm also looking forward to NOT having to write assignments in my spare time next year. Perfect timing as I concentrate on married life and being the perfect wife...haha.
end.
