Brad's Farewell

We don't have many YSA in Tassie...and although it's under happy circumstances that we farewell Whitty...we will all certainly miss him....especially his playstation...teehee...
...Dale is taking it harder than most...

Brad had a farewell party Saturday night and these pics are JUST for you Mel;)

Half way through the night Brad decided we all needed to go out and play the "Three steps" game...i'm not sure if that's the right name but basically it involves two people walking up to some randoms front door...one of them has a bag on their head ... the other rings the doorbell and runs off...once the doorbell has rung the one with the bag on their head removes it and has "three steps" to hide in.
Yep only three... You could end up on the lawn looking like a statue...you might be lucky enough to find a wall or bush to hide behind...
...you could be skillful like Whitty and manage to hide under a car...
...Of course all of this hiding is in vain if the person has a dog that can sniff you out...right Dale? haha...

Back to Guitar Hero... World tour...

Brad rocking out to Metallica on Expert...this is HARDCORE!

Thanks for all the good times Brad...Best of luck to you and Steph!
As a side note...Check this out...

Jonty needs to hurry up and get bigger so he can save his big brother from certain doom!
Yes that is a dress...and.... yes.... that is a pink crayon!

New Arrival...

Here he is...the newest member of the Triffitt family...
Today was the MOST amazing experience i've ever had... Today I got to witness the birth of my new baby nephew...and I didn't even FEEL faint!!...
It all began at 3:45 this morning when we got a call from Simone...Mum and I got our stuff together and headed to the Hospital picking up Jessica on the way we arrived at the Hospital at around 5:30am...
After a long wait and not much action Lisa, Mum and I headed off to Aromas for some brekky at about 7:45am...
...8:45am we arrive back to find Simone and Simon missing...they'd done a runner...not a very fast one mind you...

We found them wandering around the park...

This was to try and bring the labour on quicker and it worked...we got some looks as we quickly took up our assigned roles... Here is Lisa timekeeping and Simon checking she's getting it right...Simone is the one in labour and mum is busy liasing with everyone...
Ooh and here's me...once i'd finished my half time entertainment...I got to be the chief water person during our walk...AND count the contractions...
Finally at 11:35am it was all over and the little one had arrived...

8 pounds 14... and 53cm long...

He obviously gets his good looks from his Aunty:)

Stay tuned for the name...Simone and Simon are still deciding:)
