2011 SNOW!!

I know I post about this every year but it's just SO exciting when it snows!! Because I'd borrowed Simone's Yaris as a loan car whilst the Jazz was having blues I had to do a day trip up on sunday to return it. We left Hobart at about 10:40...and hit this...

We were late to church because we HAD to stop and play in the snow:)... then on the way home...

Warp speed...

It was crazy and amazing...and then the next morning I got to see the results on the way to work...

Such Fun!

Red carpet event...

Pretty sure we were made for the 50's...

Lemon...she wore lemon...

Ta daaaa...
One of my favourites but I'd never made my OWN lemon meringue pie before... Behold the Beauty....

...and it was delicious!

A Jazz and Blues festival

Here is my Jazz experiencing a few blues:) :(

Binalongtime

I've never been to Binalong before...beautiful view with breakfast... Delish food from Courtney and Jimmy's workplace...'The Cafe' in the bay...

...and amazing scenery along the east coast...

...check out this view Elle!

...clear sky's and sunshine the whole time:)

Queen's Birfdee Hike

What better way to spend the long weekend holiday then with a hike through Hobarts monumental Mount...Wellington...

Over frosty rocks

Lots of them...

...and to a waterfall...

...for hot chocolates...

...and I did it... a million ks, a million hours...crippled knee...didn't REALLY slow Rob and Hayden down (except when Hayden had to piggy back me over the bog part)...right up until the last 20metres...the car was in sight..and bam... fell over...hmm

Shopping Bonanza

Top gun sunnies? Extra cash for the vertically challenged...

a great day!

...with Aunty Sandra...Mumsy...

...and lunch!

But Dale wasn't happy until he made the ultimate purchase...yep you guessed it..

...a pokemon game...ok maybe you didn't guess it...no-one could be THAT dawky...could they?

...a visit with Baby Basitan... "Who me?"

Pity he lives in the Geelong area and is therefore obligated to barrack for a dud team...even if he does look super cute in his Jersey!

Thanks for the good times melb, including the temple and the 80 year all time low in temperature! Good to be home, and even better that it was on the last flight before the ash cloud came down!

I've always had impeccable timing.
